All of these courses have been updated with the latest science for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care and meet OSHA Guidelines for First Aid. Sport Safety Training
Developed with the U.S. Olympic Committee, this course features demonstrations and lectures that teach sports-related first aid and injury prevention skills. Topics include specific responses for breathing and cardiac emergencies; soft tissue and skeletal injuries; and sudden illnesses. Optional child CPR training is also available. A participant handbook builds comprehension and serves as an excellent reference for coaches, athletic trainers and anyone else who works with athletes.
Length: 6.5 hours.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (HSPRO101)
This course combines a participant’s manual, lectures and video with hands-on skills training to cover the following areas: • Responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants • Using an AED on an adult or child victim of cardiac arrest • Using personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading Length: 8 hours. Continuing Education Units available.
Course Fee: $65

New Two-Year Certification! Participants can receive the CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certificate with a validity period of two years. Lifeguards participating in this course will receive the CPR/AED for Lifeguards certificate valid for one year.

Administering Emergency Oxygen
Laypersons and professional rescuers learn when and how to use supplemental oxygen and breathing devices. Participants receive take-home skill sheets. Adult CPR certification is a pre-requisite for this course. Length: 2.5 hours. Continuing Education Units available.

Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training Module
This module can be added to first aid and CPR training and is designed to help individuals learn how to correctly administer an epinephrine auto-injector to a person who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction. Length: 1 hour. Continuing Education Units available.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission
This two-hour training module is designed for individuals who, while on the job, may be exposed to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. Includes participant’s manual. Length: 2 hours. Continuing Education Units available.

Asthma Inhaler Training Lesson
